Welcome and thank you for being here! If you are new hello I am Brittany an 200 hr Registered yoga teacher, Level 2 reiki practitioner and Spiritual coach. Ive been teaching yoga for over 10 years and am passionate about teaching in the Sicamous community. When I am not teaching you can find me running around with my three children and husband. We love getting out in nature and love to explore the surrounding areas hiking, biking and going on road trips. I am also an animal lover who believes in tending to the earth and enjoy gardening barefoot from Spring to Fall. Yoga has truly changed my life and that is my why for sharing this beautiful practice in the community.

Hatha


 Hatha yoga is a sacred practice that includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises), which help bring peace to the mind and body, preparing the body for deeper spiritual practices such as meditation. Hatha is a gentle to moderate class, one of my favorite styles to teach!
 
Yin

Let your body, heart, and mind connect as you rest in a sequence of full-supported floor postures, as we go into a deep gentle stretch. Listening to our bodies and beginning to witness the many layers within us - the fascia, tendons, ligaments, nerves, vessels of all kinds, right down to the bones and marrow of our being. Diving deep with-in to meet ourselves without manipulation or judgement, to honor where we are, and simply be in the moment.
 
Restorative

Restorative yoga is designed to bring you to a state of deep relaxation. The class has an ability to relieve physical and mental symptoms of stress, leaving you in a healthier state at the start. Our Relax and Restore is a great class if you need to slow down. Come nourish your soul. 
 
Barre Yoga

Barre fitness is a hybrid workout class - combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training. Most classes incorporate a ballet barre and use classic dance moves such as plies, alongside static stretches. Barre also focuses on high reps of small range movements. Bring your water bottle and get ready to move, sweat and have some fun. Music is turned up in this class.

Full moon ritual

 

Connect and celebrate the magical moon! This 2 hour ritual includes: an astrology reading, collective tarot reading, meditation, journaling and yoga asana.  An amazing way to connect with the full moon and create a sacred ritual of self care. Also includes sage smudge to release anything that no longer serves you. 

New moon manifest ritual-

Do you ever feel inspired around the new moon? A magical time to set intentions and manifest new goals. This 2 hour ritual includes intention setting, journaling, yoga asana, meditation and a astrology moon letter. Also includes aromatherapy and savasana sound bath.

Self love ritual

Check in with yourself. Beginning the ritual with settling into the space and connecting to breathe. Move through a yoga practice focusing inward and connecting to your beautiful body. In this ritual we focus on loving affirmations, essential oils to benefit your wellbeing, herbal tea, guided journaling, and a guided meditation of soul nourishing love and compassion.

Meditation is a beautiful mindfulness practice that guides you into the body and grounds your energy. We often live in our heads and have a lot going on in our mind. Meditation is a beautiful way to calm your thoughts and connect to your breath, allowing your mind to slow down. The practice will bring you to the present moment and the now. 

Relaxing Candles

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing treatment that balances, sustains, and nurtures all aspects of our Being: Physical, Mental, Emotional, and Spiritual. When offering Reiki healing I will be using my hands to tune in and guide the flow of healthy energy through the body to reduce stress and promote healing. This treatment also includes optional aromatherapy, relaxing music, and a stress relieving scalp massage.

Indian head massage is a very relaxing treatment.This treatment focuses on massaging the head, neck, shoulders, arms and face. This includes a scalp oil massage that nourishes your scalp and can promote hair growth and facial massage using skin glowing oils. This can help prevent headaches and migraines.
